Our Therapists and Our Stories

Charlie

Charlie

Having navigated an unconventional education path of out-of-state schooling, community college, and then a four-year university, I journeyed through a path of discovering a purpose and self-identity that resonated more for me beyond what my parents expected of me. My training in academic and career counseling along with trauma-focused EMDR therapy guides me in my connection with teens and young adults, while supporting them in launching their lives and navigating through developmental challenges.

Humberto

Humberto

Having had the experiences of working with those who are the most underserved and unheard, including differently abled individuals, mentally disturbed youth incarcerated in juvenile detention centers, to adults newly released from prison, I learned that listening and forming a connection is crucial to being open to growth and receiving assistance. I strive to meet the clients where they are at to form a relationship of mutual trust and respect, guiding and assisting in ways that can work through trauma while promoting a healthier level of mental health.

jane

Jane

As a working mom with a significant mid-life career shift, I have traveled through my own journey of anxiety, trauma, grief, parenting, intercultural and relationship challenges. These experiences have granted me a deep empathy for people in pain and a strong commitment to provide a safe and compassionate healing space for children, couples, and families. Restoration of safety, trust, resilience and thriving are truly possible given our collaborative efforts.

Karen

Karen

Widowed at 50, I’ve walked through profound loss, which has shaped my understanding of grief. Much of life is learning how to grieve, and my focus has become supporting kids, teens, and adults who have lost a parent or partner. I also understand bipolar disorder and suicide through my own family’s experience, which has deepened my compassion and commitment to this work.

Lonetta

Lonetta

I see therapy as a gentle unfolding, a space where clients—including those who are neurodivergent—can breathe again and release what they’ve carried. As a biracial African American and Mexican woman, I bring empathy, cultural awareness, and respect for each person’s story, walking at their pace. With EMDR training and personal insight into trauma, I strive to be a steady, compassionate presence, affirming neurodivergent clients as they heal, strengthen relationships, and grow.

Sanath

Drawing on my experience as a Pastor, Medical Social Worker, and immigrant, I help individuals, couples, and families feel truly seen, safe, and understood in a supportive environment. My personal journey navigating cultural transitions strengthens my commitment to guiding individuals through trauma, grief, and life challenges. Together, we work to rebuild strength, restore hope, and strengthen relationships for lasting, meaningful change.

Sarah Beth

Sarah Beth

Through unexpected health challenges, such as hearing loss and balance issues, I have gained deep empathy and understanding for the elderly population. My training and passion for Art Therapy aids me in connection with individuals, from children up through the elderly, through verbal and non-verbal communication. I desire for each unique individual to feel seen, heard, and valued.

Stephanie

Stephanie

As a teacher who worked at various schools and NGOs to support children, refugees, and immigrants, I learned how trust and belonging can change a life. That experience now guides my work supporting individuals and families toward safety, connection, and purpose.

Sumith

Sumith

Coming from a family marked by addiction and conflict in a culture where emotional healing was rarely discussed, I became committed to pursuing healing for myself and for others. With over 15 years of pastoral counseling experience across Asia and now living in the U.S., I support couples and families in building relationships with deep trust, safety, and lasting connection.

Victoria

Victoria

I’m passionate about helping people find clarity and real, hopeful solutions. As a school counselor, I walk closely with children on the spectrum and their families, and I’ve developed a strong intuition for noticing when a child needs a different kind of support to truly thrive. My years as a pastor also shape the way I care for young couples—offering gentle guidance, practical tools, and a safe space to grow stronger together. If you’re looking for warm, grounded support, I’d love to connect and walk with you toward greater well-being.
